Steve Hanebutt has over 25 years of experience working in the tax arena. A Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas, he spent
10 years in public accounting – split between Arthur Andersen and two large, local CPA firms in addition to working for over 15 years in
tax-specific consulting firms. Steve has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation
from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Sonia Walwyn is one of the nation’s leading authorities on Unclaimed Property. Her work includes audit defense, voluntary disclosures,
exposure analysis, annual compliance, and unclaimed property process improvement/development. Sonia earned an LLM in Taxation
from the Villanova School of Law, a J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law, holds a B.S. in accounting and is a CPA in both the states
of Illinois and Pennsylvania.
