The Department of Social and Health Services Aging and Long Term Support Administration is partnering with the Washington Health Care Association (WHCA) and LeadingAge Washington (LAW) to provide training on mandatory reporting of abuse, neglect, and exploitation and investigations in assisted living facilities. The training, which will include regulators and providers, aims to ensure that these care partners understand the legal requirements for mandatory reporting and investigations in assisted living facilities in the state. This two-hour webinar hosted by WHCA is scheduled for May 3, 2023, from 1:00-3:00 pm. The webinar is the first of a focused series of joint ALTSA, WHCA, and LAW outreach and training over the upcoming months to ensure that both provider and RCS staff have a shared understanding of the requirements.
