COURSE OVERVIEW

Provide strategies to prevent and mitigate infectious diseases within long term care facilities, within a framework that can be used to create a facility specific Epidemic Preparedness Plan.

SPEAKER

Torre Wright serves as Washington State’s Epidemic Preparedness and Response Program Manager. Torre is a 21-year veteran of the United States Army, 10 of which were as a Combat Medic and a Respiratory Therapist. Torre earned the Army’s prestigious Expert Field Medical Badge and is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal.  Torre’s education includes a MBA (Human Resource Management) from the University of the Incarnate Word, and a BS (Business Administration) from Texas A&M University. In his free time, you can find Torre working in his yard or giving back to his community by working with at risk youth.
