We will once again join forces with the Idaho Health Care Association (IHCA) to bring you valuable education and networking opportunities, plus the chance to have a little fun! Mark your calendars for Fall Conference – you won’t want to miss this one!

The Assisted Living Care Academy is designed for nurses and caregivers who are new to wellness departments in assisted living settings in Washington and is beneficial for the professional growth and development of executive directors and other long-term care workers wanting to learn more regarding the roles involved in running a wellness department, as well as nursing services in assisted living.

Held twice annually, this multi-day workshop is fully virtual and helps nurses and caregivers understand the population they serve, the regulations that oversee their work, and the knowledge, information, resources, and tools it takes to be successful.

The next Care Academy session will be held June 18, 20, 25, and 27.

WHCA offers support to our skilled nursing provider members who are interested in pursuing CMP grants to help enrich the lives of residents in their communities.

All Medicare- and/or Medicaid-certified SNFs in Washington are eligible to apply.
